PI Scoring Logic

  • MIPS eligible clinicians MUST use EHR technology certified to the 2015 Edition 2015 Edition Cures Update.
  • Each measure is scored based on the MIPS eligible clinician’s performance for that measure, except for the measures which require a Yes/No attestation.
  • CMS has finalized to continue the existing policy of reweighting the Promoting Interoperability performance category for physical therapists, occupational therapists, qualified speech-language pathologist, qualified audiologists, clinical psychologists, and registered dieticians or nutrition professionals only for the PY 2023 performance period.
